DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR DRIVING LICENSE

 

• Copy of Valid Age Proof (Birth Certificate, School Leaving Certificate etc.)
• Copy of Valid Address Proof (Ration Card, Electricity / Telephone Bill etc.)
• Form 1 (Self declaration as to the physical fitness)
• Form 1A in case of Transport Vehicle License
• Two Recent Passport size Photographs

⇒ PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION OF DRIVING LICENSE 

1. Please make sure you identify the appropriate or nearest RTO offices using the following link  RTO Office Locations
2. Make sure you have all the documents that are listed above under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
3. The applicant for a learners license should approach the Assistant Director of Transport of the area in which he resides and submit duly filled in Form 2.  Application Forms
4. You will be requested to take a theory test to make sure you know the rules related to driving.
5. If you have cleared the theory test you will be provided with a learner driver license If you have failed the test you will be given a weeks time and will be asked to retake the test.

• Fill the application form in the above given site ,upload required proofs, take printout of the application form including Acknowledgement form and go to nearest RTO office before 11:30 a.m.
